Hello from your Lake Jennings!
This was another warm weekend, so most anglers came out early or came out late. Not too much of a report this week but cats were your best bet, and just a reminder, the channel cats can be targeted year round and the big blue cats bite best during the fall.
I'm very excited to announce that our trout season is right around the corner and have we got a great season planned for you this year! The first trout stocking will take place the week of November 10th and will include our largest stocking yet.
The bass bite continues to be fair, and they will continue to be on the move as the lake water level begins to drop some more.
Lake Jennings Campground tends to slow a bit as the evenings get cooler, but since the heat is hanging around the campground continues to draw in campers from all over. It's no surprise to continually see new faces along with regulars, so you need to plan ahead to get the spot you prefer though walk ups are welcome.
We do offer Weekly rates and Long Term (monthly) rates. The season for long term stays (minimum 30 days) will run until the end of March. Long Term stays are allowed year round, but during the winter the long term full hookup sites have priority. If you want to stay long term during the months of April through September you need to reserve as soon as possible. Long term stays MUST be in a trailer, 5th wheel, RV, or motorhome. No tents for long term stays.
If you have any questions call us at 619.390.1623, and we would be happy to assist.

Lake Jennings Fish Reports
Lake JenningsHello from your Lake Jennings! What a great weekend! The temps were just right, especially after the crazy weather we've had over the past couple of weeks. Several catfish were caught for those targeting them, with the night time being your best bet. Remember, only one weekend left for the Night Fishing season and then it's back to the sunrise to sunset schedule for the lake hours of operation. There will be one more stocking of 1,000 pounds of Channel Catfish...... Read More
Lake Jennings Fish Reports
Lake JenningsHello from your Lake Jennings! As we do our best to cope with September's heat, remember that the evenings cool down, and what better thing to do than fish? The Night Fishing continues for the rest of September, but the number of channel cats stocked combined with our existing population will last year round.
